Brightworks School

Brightworks is a progressive, independent K-12 school in San Francisco’s Presidio built around hands-on, project-based learning. Students work in small classes and mixed-age groups, with teachers described as collaborators who help them co-create learning through real-world projects, design thinking, and place-based exploration. Programs span early elementary through high school, with an emphasis on student agency, play, community, social-emotional learning, and skills such as collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and problem solving.
